1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using checkmy ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Proxima AI, LLC ("we", "us", "our"). If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

checkmy provides network diagnostics tools including DNS lookups, IP geolocation, WHOIS/RDAP queries, and TLS certificate inspection. The Service is provided free of charge and "as is" without any guarantees of availability or accuracy.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Attempt to overwhelm the Service with excessive automated requests (rate limits are enforced per IP address).
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service's backend infrastructure.
  • Use the Service to facilitate attacks against third-party systems or networks.
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without prior written consent.

4. Rate Limiting

The API enforces rate limits per IP address. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary or permanent restriction of access. We reserve the right to modify rate limits at any time without notice.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Proxima AI, LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. Data Accuracy

The information provided by the Service (including but not limited to IP geolocation data, DNS records, WHOIS data, and TLS certificate details) is sourced from third-party databases and public records. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this information.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Proxima AI, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

8. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
